John D’Onofrio’s writing has been published in numerous national and regional magazines, including Trail Runner, Washington Trails, Cascadia Weekly, Northwest Men’s Magazine, Northwest Runner, Adventures Northwest, Whatcom Independent, Foothills Gazette, Grow Northwest, Northwest Business Monthly and others.
 
Although his writing is focused on the outdoors and the natural world, he has also written on art & culture, travel, international affairs, and business & sustainability issues. He is the co-author of Mount Baker, published by Arcadia Press in 2013.
 
His work is unique in that he is also an award-winning photographer and has illustrated many of his stories with his evocative images, many of which have graced the covers of these publications.
